India Post GDS Recruitment 2023: Results Declared for Schedule I, Document Verification Process Begins

India Post, the national postal service of India, has recently declared the results for GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) Online Engagement – Schedule I (January) 2023. A total of 298 posts were available, and the selection was based on merit. The shortlisted candidates must now verify their documents through the Divisional Head listed next to their name before March 21, 2023.
This recruitment drive was conducted by India Post to fill up various posts of GDS in different regions across India. The GDS job profile includes various duties such as sorting and delivery of mail, managing postal records, providing customer service, and other related tasks. As per the selection process, candidates were evaluated based on their performance in the 10th standard exam.
Candidates who have been shortlisted must now go through the document verification process to secure their position in the GDS post. The verification process will be conducted by the Divisional Head listed next to their name. Shortlisted candidates are required to bring the original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents for verification.
The list of documents that the candidates need to carry includes the mark sheet and certificate of the 10th standard examination, age proof certificate, community certificate, computer certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents. Any candidate failing to produce the original documents or submitting incomplete or false information will be disqualified.
